Fernando: Another minor point. It concerns the photo from Bonete. I do not believe that is Ojos in the far background. From this angle and position, Ojos would be obscured by the Pissis massif. It would be out of the photo to the right and not in view. Instead, that is Tres Cruces in the distance. Tres lies almost due north from Pissis and the angle of the photo would place Tres at the correct position. In addition, in the photo the peak has two snowy flanks, with snowless ground in between, exactly the configuration of Tres as I remember it from the south. Take care. Bob |
