Fernando: Another thought occurred to me. Why do you plan on two days to cross the distance between Bonete and Pissis? Perhaps there are some logistical issues involved. Actually, it can be done in a day, not two days. Also, you plan on a camp below the southern Pissis massif. Then you go to 6200 meters and then from there to the summit. I think you have summitted Pissis before. Remember looking to the south and the long distance from the summit all the way down the southern part of the massif? That is a long slog. I know you guys are speed climbers, but that is a long haul up and a long haul back. That has been done several times over the years, but those involved spent several days up and back to the southern flanks. Anyway, good luck if you can do it. Kind regards. Bob |
