The Gran Crater (mean altitude 5000m to 5500m). This picture has been taken from the summit of Cerro Bonete (6759m). Pissis volcano on the right side (6882m), the second summit of the Andes and highest volcano in the world. On the back side you can distingish Nevado Tres Cruces (6749m).

To the best of my knowledge the traverse of the Gran Crater from the south and with both summits has never been performed in the same expedition.
