Early departure from Fiambalá (1500m). We follow again the international route to Las Grutas (4000m), cross the frontier at San Francisco pass, continue to Laguna Verde (Chile) and from there to the basecamp of Nevado Tres Cruces. In the afternoon we climb to camp1 (around 5200m). 29th-Dec-2005
From camp 1 we continue to the next high camp 2 (around 6000m) 30th-Dec-2005
From high camp 2 we summit Tres Cruces Central (6629m) and go down to the bridge joining both summits (around 6000m) 31th-Dec-2005
Bridge Tres Cruces to main summit Tres Cruces (6748m) and down to the north side of the salt lake between Tres Cruces and Walther Penck (around 5500m). Silvester party! 1st-Jan-2005
